Obstetrics & Gynecology Residency Program

Since it began in 1982, the ACGME accredited Obstetrics and Gynecology Residency Program at Oklahoma State University, in conjunction with the Osteopathic Medical Education Consortium of Oklahoma (OMECO), has trained more than 100 physicians who are now successfully practicing medicine nation-wide. Highly competitive, the Osteopathically recognized program trains five to six residents in each post graduate year in rotations across the state, in both rural and metropolitan areas. Working the Labor and Delivery units at two of the main hospitals in Tulsa, Saint Francis Hospital and OSU Medical Center, our residents rotate through five additional hospitals for Benign Gynecology, as well as the sub-specialties of Gynecological Oncology, Urogynecology, Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, and Maternal and Fetal Medicine.
