Leo is the learning management system used by athletic training and OSU College of Osteopathic Medicine students to access course content. You should get know Leo pretty well. You'll be using it to keep track of when and where classes take place, accessing course content, taking quizzes, uploading assignments, accessing Panopto lecture capture recordings, and viewing your grades.

examplifyExamplify

Examplify is the software students use to take exams, take-home quizzes, and how you are scored on objective structured clinical examinations (practicals). You should have this software downloaded. Familiarize yourself with logging in and utilizing features you will use on quizzes and exams.

panoptoPanopto

Panopto is the lecture-capture system used by the Center for Health Sciences. You have access to Panopto through the learning management system (either Leo or Canvas) and you can view all of your class lectures, and even create your own content if needed.

 

Tutorial Videos: Get to Know Panopto

Panopto now has a mobile app! After downloading from the app store, (1) login to Leo on your mobile browser. (2) Click on any Panopto LTI link to use the app. (3) Choose to open the Panopto app when prompted. (4) You should stay logged in on your device at this point, but may need to repeat the proccess occasionally to re-authenticate.

 

canvasCanvas

Canvas is the learning management system used by healthcare administration and forensic science students to access course content. Get comfortable using Canvas before your course starts. You'll be using it to keep track of when and where classes take place, accessing course content, taking quizzes, uploading assignments, accessing Panopto lecture capture recordings, and viewing your grades.
