2019 Pain Management Symposium

The objective of the “2019 Pain Management Symposium” is to enhance the knowledge of health care providers, thereby improving patient care. Participants in the 2019 Pain Management Symposium will become aware of new updates in Pain Management treatment and practice and gain a better understanding of the variety of patient types and conditions seen in the multiple patient care settings in urban and rural areas.

AOA: The OSU-COM Continuing Medical Education office is accredited by the American Osteopathic Association to provide osteopathic continuing medical education for physicians. The OSU-COM CME office designates this program for a maximum of 7 AOA Category 1-A credits and will report CME and specialty credits commensurate with the extent of the physician’s participation in this activity.
AMA/AAFP Equivalency: Application for up to 7 Prescribed credits have been filed with the American Academy of Family Physicians. AMA/AAFP Prescribed credit is accepted by the American Medical Association as equivalent to AMA PRA Category 1 Credit™ toward the AMA Physician’s Recognition Award. When applying for the AMA PRA, credit earned must be reported as Prescribed credit, not as Category 1.
PLICO: Attendance at selected seminars qualifies the attendee for credit toward PLICO Risk Management premium credit.
