Internal Medicine

Residency Program

Our primary teaching services are housed at the Oklahoma State University Medical Center in downtown Tulsa. OSUMC is the nations largest osteopathic teaching hospital and is the primary teaching hospital for the OSU Center for Health Sciences. It acts as a tertiary care center regionally and is licensed for 199 beds. Including Internal Medicine, there are 12 residencies housed at OSUMC, including general surgery, radiology, emergency medicine and ear, nose and throat, to name a few. Our residents also rotate through the Jack C. Montgomery VA Medical Center in Muskogee, during each of their three years.

Patient Care

Doctors of internal medicine treat the whole person, not just internal organs. They care for their patients for life, from late teen years through old age. Our Internal medicine physicians are specialists who apply scientific knowledge and clinical expertise to the diagnosis, treatment and compassionate care of adults.
